I jumped into the fray -- and bought a new car.
My Honda was 6 years old and had about 95,000 miles on it.
Still ran good but was beginning to make a NotSoNice noise......... one of those OMG so expensive noises.
And I wasn't ready to shell out a couple of grand if I had to.
We did a bit of shopping -- and I got a 2008 Toyota Rav4.
The only downside is the 1 disc CD -- as opposed to the 6 disc changer it was supposed to have -- the dealership got amnesia and I just wasn't in the mood to argue.
Since I have no other major bills, with the exception of the mortgage, I thought 'why not?'
Might as well do my best to pump up the economy !

Pay it Forward
:: Gulp ::
I've been watching a few of the ladies on BJP and on ABB participate in a Pay It Forward type exchange.
This morning I finally took the leap and jumped into Dot's -- what a temptress she is!
Drum roll -- here are the rules:
" I will send a handmade beaded gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange (and email me their mailing address and favorite color), and who make the same pledge on their own blogs. I don't know what the gift will be, but it will be beaded, and you will receive it within 1 year, I promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward, by posting a pay it forward on your own blog."
